Can you cross the Insanely High Glass-Bottomed Walkway in China?
Adventure-seekers, are you brave enough to cross this? New glass-bottomed walkway opens at 4,600ft in China! This is the third glass walkway they've built on a mountain!
Glass walkways on mountains are all the rage at China's Tianmenshan National Park.
The Coiling Dragon Cliff Walkway opened on August 1 on Tianmen Mountain, at the Tianmenshan National Park in Zhangjiajie.
The 330ft-long glass-bottomed skywalk along the mountainside is just 5ft wide, giving tourists a very clear view of the plunging valley on the other side of the barrier, according to People's Daily Online.
This walkway, the third such walkway to open on the mountain, has been recently converted from a wooden pathway and sits at around 4,600ft above sea level. Even if the walkway were made of wood, metal or concrete, the views of the park would be gorgeously vertigo-inducing. The glass only adds to the effect. Looks crazy, right?! Would you dare cross it?
